Statuses and colours
ITS says a lot with small coloured tags. This page lists them, exactly as they are written on screen, and explains what each one tells you.
How the colours are used

| Green | In order: arrived, verified, tracked, genuine, acknowledged |
| Amber | Movement or attention: departed, in transit, needs attention, overdue, a position that could not be read |
| Grey | Closed or for information: discharged, for information |
| Red | Withdrawn or refused: cancelled, not authorised, a failed transmission |
| Outlined (no fill) | Nothing has happened yet, or no claim is made: registered, unsigned, no electronic seal |
Every tag also carries its wording, and two states share a colour: Departed and In transit are both amber. Read the words; the colour is only a shortcut.
A missing value is shown as an em dash, —, never as a blank.
Declaration states

| Cancelled | Red | Withdrawn by the departure country before any country stamped its exit. Final |
A state the portal does not recognise is shown outlined, with its name as ITS sent it, such as Issued on an old version.
In the Lifecycle tile, a filled green dot is a state reached, an empty circle one not reached yet, and an amber ring the current state. See How ITS works.
Stamps
In the Corridor tab's Stamp register, every stamp is a small green tag:

Guarantee
| Shown as | Meaning |

| Verified | The guarantee platform confirms the reference. Proceed |
| Invalid | The platform says the reference is unknown, expired, exhausted or revoked. Stop the consignment |
| Declared, unverified (Declared, not verified on the Track page) | Nobody could be asked. The document's claim is unchecked; treat it as a claim |
| Could not be checked | The platform did not usefully answer. Nothing has been said either way; make a phone call |
Cargo tracking and seals

On the public Track page, the seal reads Active, Tampered, Could not be reached, Unknown or No e-seal.
Signature

After Verify signature: Verified (sealed by AfCFTA ITS), Not verified (the signature does not match), Cannot be checked here (no published key to check against), or Check failed.

Announcements
On the History tab's Who has been told:

Failed transmissions
Every row has a red edge. Not authorised is a red tag for a permission refusal; the error code, such as ERR-006, is outlined; the outcome, Refused, is plain text.
Overview figures
Overdue now is shown in amber when it is above zero. The arrows under each figure compare with the period before: ▲ higher, ▼ lower. A change of 0.0 pts still shows ▼.
